Winchester model 70 extractor

I recently purchased a new model 70. I really like the rifle the fit and finish are pretty amazing by today’s standards that you see on most gun store shelves. The only thing I really don’t care for is the extractor is more or less left in the white but actually is a silver finish. Why they didn’t blue this is beyond me. My question is would it be able to be blued? Wondering if why they left it silver was because of the type of metal used now. Probably just another bean counters way to save a buck. Any advice would be appreciated, thank you, Don7F9572BA-D758-4A01-ACCA-701F20FC3BAC.jpeg

My preference is a polished bolt body and extractor, but tastes differ. Sometimes the extractor outside surface will drag a bit on the bolt way interior. If blued, it would show up as white scratches. Also, the extractor might be stainless steel.
They didn't save any money by not bluing the extractor, so that was not the reason.
