Hi,

I have a highly engraved pre 64 Win mod 12.

WS-1 choked 26 in barrel with two beads and front is ivory I believe.

Verified w Pauline Muerlle that it’s not factory engraving but she agreed it’s extremely nice.
Lots of pictures to follow

No provenance but it came from southern AZ.

Payment is postal money orders or personal check for silver or gold members.

Best I can tell, yes.

I sent pics to Pauline Muerlle the Winchester engraving guru and she verified it’s not factory engraving but she did say it was top notch and done by a master

On a factory original gun, without a vent rib, the Win proof marks will be on top of the receiver and
barrel extension.

If the vent rib is factory original the Win proof marks will be on the side of the rib----having
been milled away by the rib installation and remarked.

On an after market rib (Simmons) , there are generally no proof marks.

Factory ribs add much to the collector value of these great old guns and the
skeet choke should be a bonus.

I don't know about the proof marks on solid rub guns.
