Winchester Falling Block/ High Wall
This rifle was built by a WWII vet who became a top machinist and rifle smith.
The rifle is built on a Winchester Falling Block action and is in a wildcat cartridge “6MM 30-30 R”.
The cartridge was developed by the maker who enjoyed experimenting. He used 30-30 brass, shortened it, changed the shoulder, and opened it up to 6MM.
The illustration describes the cartridge.
Included in the price are custom dies with instructions, and formed brass; 39 once fired and 80 twice fired.
The rest of the rifle is comprised of a tapered, fluted barrel, walnut furniture, and stainless steel scope mount and rings. The scope is not included in the price.
These actions run around $600 to $700 and the rest of the work should bring the rifle to around $925 plus actual shipping cost.
Payment by USPS money order
First “I’ll take it” followed by PM rules apply.
