Can happen to anybody but Winchester quality last few years have been awful.
Have some 124gr Winchester mil spec ammo, should never left the factory.

So, today I received a letter from Bass Pro/Cabela’s notifying me of the recall. I guess they were able to determine my multiple purchases of the ammo in question from store records. It’s nice to see that they are looking out for their customers safety and welfare. On a lesser note, better late than never.....lol

And they wonder why we load our own . I think it's a pretty safe bet to say that "Our" Q.C. is a little tighter than theirs . especially Range test firing on a "lot" .

100% correct!
It amazes me that when shooting, something out of the ordinary can happen, and some people will load another round with no inspection at all.

Years ago, my brother brought me his 9mm pistol because it was “jammed” and would not load a bullet completely. A quick inspection revealed a bullet lodged in the barrel, when I questioned him, he said the shot before was a funny little pop, but he thought nothing of it. The only reason he did not try to fire another round is it would not load, lucky for him.
