I have for sale a Winchester model 52C Sporter serial number 97316C made in 1957 The serial number on the bolt matches the gun. It's in excellent condition, has a 24" barrel, a Weaver K-4x scope with fine crosshairs on 1" QD rings. Asking $3900 with $150 insured shipping in a hard case. I don't see the flat milled on the receiver rear for the Lyman 48F that was standard on all of these sporters. Also is front sight forged on barrel or soldered?

The win 52C sporter has a curved receiver, not flat to accept the Lyman 48F receiver sight with a curved not flat mounting base

All C sporters were factory drilled for scope bases unless someone special ordered it without drilling. Boy at these prices it would be nice to have a factory letter.
