Have a 1948 vintage original heavy barrel Winchester 52B with Redfield Olympic sights in really nice condition and would like to know if anyone ever made aftermarket trigger for these.
thanks.

Yes . But they don't come up for sale often . Go to Rimfirecentral and they've got A sticky on 52 . Some good info on the triggers that were available and how to remove the bot . Some had a small wire that you had to pull .

Yes I am a member there to and have looked at the good info. Probably should have gotten a good 40x as no problem with parts.

This guy made the gold standard of triggers for Winchester 52's:

Karl Kenyon

Legend has it, that he made them in his kitchen, with a hacksaw, and a set of files, he heat treated them in his kitchen oven, and quenched them in motor oil.

The Winchester engineers were absolutely aghast, when they found how the triggers that were being placed on so many of their match rifles (and winning) were being made.

I know from good friends experience that repair them can be very difficult.
