Selling a Winchester 52A. Stock has been repaired in two places. First was an old repair through the magazine area that had begun to separate. It was soaked in acetone to release the rest of the old glue. Once the old stuff was cleaned out it was reglued and then had pins epoxied in through the break from the top (not visible with action in stock). The second break was a clean break at the wrist. It was drilled down through the wrist and has a 3/8" oak dowel glued in to reinforce the joint. The repair is strong, and has held the weight of the rifle extended while holding the pistol grip without a second hand supporting. I believe the length of pull has been shortened, but I can't confirm that. Comes with extra magazines. Metal is in decent shape for it's age. I am asking $1000 or best offer with the 8X Unertl. Your FFL must accept from an individual. Thanks for looking.
