I don’t know the history of this brass, it’s from my Dad’s stash. Could be once fired, could be more. Dad’s favorite 220 swift load was 41.5gr of H380, WLRM primer and a 55 grain ballistic tip. He’s always had a love affair with the cartridge. I just need enough to cover postage.

I’m asking 12.00

Dear nakneker , I am writing that load down , and see if I can use it in my
Swifters. Nakneker, Your top drawer, you should have kept your dads rifle. Unless you have. Buck

Dad gifted me his pre 64s about a year ago, a lightweight 270 and a lightweight 30-06, both with older fixed power leupolds. Dad is still with us, just not living with us anymore, unfortunately a stroke, diabetes and dementia has taken its toll and he doesn’t remember any of his guns, his Cadillac, motorcycle or knives. He’s lived with us for over a dozen years and now he is in an assisted living home about 5 minutes from the house. His needs are beyond what I can do, I still work out of town every other week. It’s not what we wanted but it is what it is. I’m keeping most of his most sentimental things here at the house. He had a few 220 swifts over the years, a VSSF, Winchester Heavy varmint, a couple sporters, one a pre 64 and one a Remington. He sold them years ago though. It was always one of his favorite cartridges, he’s the one who turned me on to the swift decades ago and I’ve had my own fun with the cartridge.

That load worked in most of his rifles, mine too. Just remember to work up to it and start low, you know how it goes.

Thanks for the story, nakneker
