I recently found out that one of my sister-in-laws still had her father's hunting rifle (Winchester 100 in 284 Win.) some 30+ years after his passing. In short, the rifle was given into my care for "keeping it in the family". It is a very nice rifle in very good condition. He took good care of it.

Like a lot of other "older" calibers, finding the brass for it is hit and miss and costly... but well worth the work. I finally have the components and have loaded some 139gr bullets in both H and IRM 4350.
Now waiting for a dry weekend to test the loads... as my wife does not like it when I do my shooting from the bedroom window...
