Wilson seater die with coax press?

As someone once said, you will never get it in. LOL, There is not enough clearance for the inline chamber die to fit in, "Under" the Forster co-ax press. Even if you remove the shell plate holder. I tried. (6.5CM) You have to have a Arbor press, it will work with the Lyman-8 Turret press. Furtunecookie45LC has a video out showing the Wilson inline seater die working with the Lyman-8 Turret Press. If your in the market for an Arbor Press. 21Century makes the best there is. JMHO&2C

Can you use a Wilson seater die with a coax press?
Yes, if the cartridge is short enough...the 6 dasher can be used with 108 Bergers, take off the shell holder...add another .400" to the cartridge length by taking some 5/16 plate and cutting it to fit in the shell holder slot. Also take the 1" seating knob off and turn it down to .800" so it uses through the shell holder slot..that will take care of most cartridges ... if not make a seating knob stop that raises above the slot and mill out the front to slide the bullet seating assembly through. So most any cartridge can be seated in the coaxial press, just like an arbor press.

Or, just save all the fuss and buy an arbor press. LOL

I already have an arbor press, but I also have a Bridgeport mill and 2 lathes with lots of tooling...
So its an easy and a fun modification, for anyone interested...or buy an arbor press.

Thanks for your help. Is for a 6mmbr. I could come up with a way to make the 5/16 plate. Have no access to a lathe for turning down the seating knob. Not sure if it is worth all that. Or does a guy get a Forster Ultra seater and call it good? It’s my wife’s gun for max of 600 yards. Longest range we have. Not for competition just our own fun. Just wanted to get the best setup I could. Buy once cry once.

You can load 6 dasher and shorter, cartridges using a Wilson micrometer seating die in the forester press as an arbor press by pulling the shell holder, with no further modifications...the modifications are for longer cartridges. A forester micrometer seater is a easy and good option too...
