In reality, I thought we were here to help others that cant attend. It is sad when secrets get kept and taken to the grave . Help us learn and it will feel good.

I couldn't agree more, rmist. I figured I'd learn a lot but I had no idea how much and I had a blast. Absolutely outstanding event. Thanks to PA1000 and especially to my instructor, Wolfdawg, who's experience and equipment helped our team place at the top of competition and helped me score 49 out of 50 points this morning. I'll see you guys next year.

rmist & Mark It Was a pleasure having you guys at the range this weekend if there is anything else you want to know or that would be helpful to us for the next class. Please let your instructor know so he can pass it on. I know I have fun letting you guys break clay birds Friday night at 1000 yard, and seeing the smiles when they see how easy it really is. I like starting to get people hooked when I first meet them, buy letting them shoot first thing , just to break the ice.

We are here to help and learn from each other.... Relax... My comment was in fun !! We had a very good weekend learning from some of the best 1000 yard shooters in the country. One of the students took lots of notes. I took a lot as well. Maybe he will share. I will once I recover from the knowledge overload. I'll tell you one thing... I never ever thought of weighing primers...that's very new to me !!!
Again Thankyou to all... Joe... Thx for all your insight as my coach and mentor !!! Salt team did very well !!!

rmist we can give them one secret, when the wind blows you better know how to shoot fast and know when you have a let up. Did you happen to have the wind blow in one direction and the bullet hit the opposite side of the bullseye? If you want a challenge come shoot a PA. you'll get an Education!

Thanks Mark!!!

You guys were great, I had a blast as well. I know it is a shock to have all of that info thrown at you over 2 1/2 days.

But, it is a good feeling to see how well everyone takes it all in. It is especially gratifying to see how well you and Tom both shot with loads you developed, loaded and shot. I am proud to have you both place so high and that you shot the high score of the match was icing on the cake!!!! (49 out of 50 btw) ;D

I certainly hope to see you all again either at the school or at a match.

There are no secrets... Anyone will tell you anything you want to know. Our goal is to get everyone some trigger time, learning: bench techniques, bench etiquite, pit procedures, load developement, chronograph testing, and especially reloading techniques.

On behalf of my friend, Roger Gower and myself, we would also like to thank everyone involved with the 1000yd Benchrest School. We had a Super time, met a lot of extremely nice folks and even managed to absorb a lot of new information into these two old noggins. A special thanks to our instructor Matt who went above and beyond the call to make our trip a fruitful one. I feel like we hit the lottery! Again, thank you, one and all for a great job, well done.

It was a real pleasure meeting you; Chuck and Roger. I feel I just made two very good friends. Since you didn't toot Rogers horn. I will, He shot small group of the Day. I haven't seen that little of vertical in a long time. Also it was nice meeting you Dave. Matt

My two "students" were Ken Newman and Bob Klein from New York City. They had such a good time that, upon their return home, they planned on petitioning NYC government to install a 1000 yard range in Central Park. Hats off to Ken for shooting small group in the 2nd relay.
