I am looking for a hotel that will get me closest to the range. The Forest Inn is not taking reservations at this time and I fear that camping in a tent on site won't work out with my ageing frame.........I'm Not very picky......Just please nothing that rents by the hour...o_O

Thank's
Best Regards
Rick

Cascade Country Inn B&B, right down the road. West end of Williamsport close to Rte.15 is another option. The bridges are out up from Loyalsockville and across Salt run going the back way. The detour is classic Penndot and good only if you live in the area. You'll go thirty miles to make up the three miles from the closed road and then wind up at a dead end at Salt run where that bridge is out. I doubt these roads will be open by next summer. Stick with 15 to 14, turn right at Bodines, Slack run rd to left on Rose Valley to Kelly rd. to the range.

Dale you sound like you made that trip a couple of times? Williamsport will have a lot of spots to stay. Make sure you call early because I don't know when Little league game is this year.

The LLWS is from July 29 to August 27, no conflict with the World Open.

I always stay at the Marriott Fairfield Inn in Williamsport. It is 25 miles away, but it has a decent seniors rate (cell phone coverage, which is Spotty at best at the range unless you are on the hill where the berm is, although there is WiFi at the club) , free breakfast and close to plenty of places to eat dinner at.

I like those little bars with the single pool table on the road to the range, we came up from Ky years ago and loved the little Mom & Pop taverns we drank a bunch of beer, stayed on the Hilltop inn and the strip club truck stop. Had a blast
