I am acquiring a win 70 push feed long action in 30/06 and was thinking for a hunting rifle i think the 6.5-06 might be slick and feed well. I however have a 6.5x284 barrel sitting around the profile wont allow a complete new chamber and performance wise between 06 and 284 cases its a wash. I tried a 6x284 in a mauser 98 and never could get it to feed right i did not try real hard though.
SO the actual question is will a push feed L/A WIN 70 feed a 6.5x284 without to much trouble?
