Will these primers work?

While doing that desperate daily search for primers I came across this,

I ordered 10 of these, I may have just wasted $60 any opinions.

You bought CCI209 Shotshell Blank Primers; they should work just fine, every bit as well as any other Shotshell Blank Primer.

If you are loading shots hell ammunition, they will work just fine. That is what they are made for.

I would check with CCI first. The blank my be different.

Their CCI 209 magnum primers , if you're not normally using them in shotgun reloads make d$mn sure you find a new recipe for them , don't just swap primers in shotshells it can be dangerous your dealing with ALOT less max pressure in a shotgun than a pistol or rifle...

Might want to read that info again. Says they are ONLY compatible with the shot shell blank pistol they also sell for $80.

The box in the ad is 209 primers for MAGNUM shotshells, be careful with these things.

If the pic/description shown is what you bought, then yes, use them for your shot shell reloads. I think the "Shotshell Primer Blanks" designation is because they are advertised on the same page as the blank gun. I see nothing on the box saying "Blank Shotshell" primers, just 209 Magnum. As with any load, be careful when using Magnum primers and make sure they will work for your loads/needs

My plan was to try and find load data that would allow me to use Magnum primers in a slug shot shell load.

However this is what arrived.

The 209M (for magnum) would also work fine. They are my preferred powder for slower shotgun powder (heavier field loads) and also can work in lighter loads. Just use published/tested data.
