Will short action Win Model 70 feed 6mmbr??

if you have .473 bolt face then it will feed the 6mm BR, however the caliber of you rifle will also affect reapeat feeding, the 6mm BR is just under 2.5" total length, if your caliber has similar length and same bolt face then all you need to do is rebarrel

You will need a 22-250/243/308 box by my opinion.That way you would be fairly close to the lenbth and the 223 box would be too short etc.

An act of God would also help. This is a great round, just very hard to get to feed consistently. Good luck. ;D

#1111111111 on bolt fluterI have 5 ------6br -----you want a pain in the ass-try running 6 br brass thru a mag or feed ramp. Just learn to single shot REAL FAST> saves a lot of headaches. I havea M70 ,NO it will not feed out of the ramps for me, someone else may have a secret solution.

They may feed better from a single stack mag. like a old 788 rem..... jim

Thanks guys, I'm ok w a single shot, but just wondered how a short action 243 might do feeding 6 BR''s from the mag. I got some 6mm BR barrels not capable of winning but would be great quarter inch varmint barrels.

From a Tikka single column magazine they should feed.
