Will a 243 Win with 8 Twist Barrel Shoot the 87 VMAX Well?

I was thinking about getting an 8 twist barrel for my 243 to shoot the 105 AMAX and VLD but I would like to know if the 87 VMAX will shoot well with that twist rate? Does anyone have any experience with this?

I have a Shillen Select Match, .243, 1:8, 26", Varmit, It shoots 87-107 really well, so happy with it.

You asked the wrong question. The question should be a two part question, how well and for how long will my 243 throated for a 105g bullet shoot well with a much shorter 87g low drag BT bullet? A low drag bullet hates a long jump as a general rule of thumb.

The twist won`t be the issue, the freebore might.
