will a 12 twist stabalize a 87g Hornady V Max in 6BR?

90gr Secnars have trouble in a 1:10, so I doubt it. Try a few to find out.

I shot the 87's in a 12 tw and they did pretty well....but some barrels don't. You need to drive it close to or at max to make it shoot. If you already have the barrel, try it, if it doesn't work the 75's will diffenitly shoot!

I have had good accuracy out of my 12 twist with the 87 grain Vmax. My barrel likes the 75 grain Vmax the best, as it has a slight accuracy advantage out to 550 yards,as far as I have shot both bullets).
