Wife’s 6BR is done! Was waiting on the scope mount now it’s time to play!

Very nice. I've been shooting the Lapua Factory 105 Scenar factory loads and doing quite well at my 500-yard steel matches. I've got a 100 pieces of Lapua brass prepped and primed for load development. Shouldn't be too hard, 30.0 Varget, 105 Berger Hybrid target bullets touching the lands. Seems to work in any custom rifle. Mine is, no turn neck because I'm old and lost all (most) of my patients. I like simple nowadays.
Good luck and please keep us posted on your load development.

Thanks for the information I have a 1000 Lapua cases and 1000 105’s and 5pds of Varget. Time to start.

Yes it is the ten mile. Haven’t really been able to test it much. I can say that 1/8 click does move it 1/8. We are really new to the target shooting game. Grew up in the age of if you can hit a pie plate at 50 yards you were good to go. So maybe her group isn’t that great to a lot of guys but to us we are very happy. That was with factory Lapua ammunition also. Makes me wonder why I bought all the stuff for reloading with it? We don’t shoot competition just for fun and practice for hunting. Hopefully reloading will get it better.

That’s a 300 yard group? Wow, I really do need a 6br!
You’ll never know how well you can shoot until you have a BR. It’s a cheat code, an easy button, the proverbial lazer beam.

I bought some peterson brass just for kicks recently and I backed off a grain and started climbing .1 at a time to match the velocity of my Lapua load. Including the cold shot, all ten fit snugly under a dime. That’s literally new brass, with 10 different powder charges and a magneto hanging off of the barrel.

That’s what a BR can and will do.
