Mattri, congrats to your wife. What matters is the effort she put in and the pride she must have felt in shooting that group.

Some of my early efforts in this Forum had graphics that were less than perfect. That has nothing to do with the skill shown by your wife.

As a suggestion, preview a graphic before posting it. Reduce the file size if needed.

mattri,
The problem never overshadowed anything for me I enjoyed the group she shot. My wife has been hunting for the past couple of months, first bear, then deer, and now elk as a matter of a fact she just called me @ work and said she is getting ready to leave, its here last day of elk season :D I am very proud of her as I could tell you were of yours. You didn't mean to have a problem with your post, you got the problem fixed post some more pics of her when she shows you up again ;) I for one would definitly enjoy to see and here about more good shooting and fun.

Maybe there needs to be a sticky, something like "The Wife Owned Me At The Range Today," then we post pictures of the groups. It could also serve as a support group for us when our wives out-shoot us at the range. Saying things like 'You built that rifle though, so you can take partial credit for that group, Bill!' and 'You taught her how to shoot right? Well, that pretty much means you shot that group by proxy, Homer!'

Thanks for the great replies.

Interestingly enough when we first started dating she didn't like to shoot at all. Both her parents hunt and when old enough her dad brought her out toteach her how to shoot. It went poorly, she couldn't get the hang of it and they both became a little frustrated so from then on she would go along on hunts but not shoot.

When we started dating I talked her into at least trying a couple of shots at the range. Turns out she's right handed but left eye dominate. She didn't want to try shooting lefty so we picked up an eye patch and that is how she shoots to this day.

Mattri,
Thats awesome ;) WIFE,BEST FRIEND,AND HUNTING PARTNER!! it doesn't get much better than that. I just had my 26th anniversary day before yesterday, my wife and I were elk hunting that day, what a anniversary present. I should say my wife was elk hunting and I was the guide, somehow that just doesn't sound right. She doesn't share my love of BR shooting but she kicks my but regular @ off hand shooting out to two hundred yards. I am very proud of her. She shot her bear, and buck but in this state you can only shoot a spike bull in the general season and the spikes have been hiding. You can tell by the photo she is very proud of herself,I know you are! and I am sure mom and dad is also.
