Why not more 208 a max?

Why don't more people use the .308 208 grain a max instead of the Berger 200 hybrid? Higher bc and less expensive

My F tr will complete soon and I have both sitting here waiting

I use both in a 300 Win Mag 1:11 twist. I've been lead to believe the A-Max will produce the odd unexplained flyer.
I use the A-Max for banging steel and have good performance to 1200 yards with them.
Would like to hear from others on this topic.

I've tested them in my FTR gun at my local 300 yard range, they shot really well.......Haven't stretched them out to 1000 yet.......The 200 hybrids aren't far behind in BC and can be run faster with shorter bearing surface and less weight so not much advantage with the 208 but they are cheaper to buy!

I like em. I don't shoot them much because I mostly shoot prone in a sling but when I do shoot FTR-308 during the hot summer months, when I don't want to put on a shooting jacket, I use 46g of RL-17 seated just at the lands. They shoot 1 1/2" at 300 yds and I've shot 600 yds easily holding the 10 ring. Barrel is a 10 Twist Hart, 26" getting about 2630 FPS.
