Why No Talk of .270 WSM?

I'm certainly no expert, just a newbee here, but I shoot .280 and 7MM Mag a lot and I chose those two because of the fine bullet selections available over a lot fewer choices for the .270. And I really like the ballistics that the .280 shows over the .270 and the 30-06 with nearly the same brass. I thought someone should at lease give their 2C worth, so that's mine. But I'm sure the .270 is a good shooter for it's intended purpose, I think it is probably a very good deer and antelope piece. I'm really getting into long range shooting as my addiction, and I'll soon include the .284 family,.280 & 7MM WSM or RSAUM )in my addiction,as I shoot .308 and .243 AI, that's just cause I like Mercury's and Pontiacs instead of Fords, and Chevy's   lol "6 of one, half dozen of the other" so to speak  Rick Stahl   New Berlin, Pa

Berger has just released a new .270 VLD that certainly makes the 270 WSM more interesting as a match shooting chambering. You certainly already have a wide range of choices among hunting bullets.

F I, I have a Browning A-bolt SS in the .270 WSM that I hunt with. My first load that I tried in it is 65 gr. of RL-19 behind a 130 gr. CT BT. The first 3 bullets out of it brand new cut a ragged clover leaf hole that measured .310 I have never tried another load. I have hunted with it since they first come out and I love it. I don't shoot it on the bench at all except to check POI before season comes in. I would not hesitate to try a bench rifle or semi-bench rifle anytime if anyone made it.
