Why no BR wood made for CZ rimfire actions?

I guess a Boyds Pro Varmint stock will be the closest thing to a BR type for CZ rimfire actions as no one seems to want to make one to sell. I believe Urban has a stock blank for sale but then finding someone to inlet it for the action/barrel.

Just thinking out loud.

I lean more towards building off of chassis, but I do have
an AT-One I been modding for the grandson with a custom
rear bag rider and front pic rail plate......I'm wondering if you
talk to Joshb, he may come up with something. It is amazing
that there are no stock options as popular as the CZ's are
and rimfire match's on the rise.

And I will add triggers. Timney is the only aftermarket. I have asked bullet central to please get B&A to make some triggers for the CZ 457's, so far no go.

Ironic you bring this up. I was just talking with someone in the last few days that IIRC said he was making stocks for the 457's. I'm just disappointed that I can't recall, for the life of me, who it was now. I'm sorry I can't be more help but don't give up. Pretty sure he said he is doing what you're looking for.

Check out Tony Mele Stocks, he's out of Rhode Island. This is one of his stocks with a CZ455 action and a Bartlein Custom spun barrel on it. Best shooting .22 I've ever shot. 3 inch forearm and super comfortable to shoot.

What is a spun barrel? Something new from Bartlein?

I believe Don's son in law took over the business. I received a BR stock from him about 2 months ago. Looks good. His web site is jmstockcompany.com

I just checked the site, and looks like as of August we have a BR
stock for the 457.....Thank you Sir !!

Looks like his hardwood models would run under $500 so I may need to contact him. Thanks to BH for the heads up contact info.

I have a question - why are you wanting a wood BR stock?
most BR gunsmiths can inlet a flat top stock for any action.
I don’t know it David Brooks (posted above) makes a true BR stock blank.
So find a pattern you like and order it without inletting.
FYI - I am working on a Richard’s MicroFit BR stock that came in letter for a CZ 452. So I know they offer what you are looking for. It is going to take a lot of work to get it benchrest ready.
