Whos tuner brake?

Silver $$ Contributor
I have a tuner brake, the barrel is 3/4 od turned .500 inches back with a thread that measures 12 threads in .440'' with no thread for .060 at the shoulder. The muzzle end of the barrel is .910 where the turndown starts.. I would like to do away with the brake and just put a tuner on. [at the request of the neighbors. ]
I don't remember who made the tuner brake. What to do?
Im no machinist so the measurements might be a lil off. ;]

Take it or send to a smith, cut off the end and start over.
Go with "normal" threading.
They don't charge much for threading the muzzle.

If it's 3/4 you still need the number of Thread Per Inch TPI. 3/4 X ? to be able to find out who threads their tuner to that particular size.

So if its 13 threads in approximately .440 how many threads per inch would it be? There must be a standard. Maybe a machinist could help me out ? My math sucks. lol
