Who’s hitting the fields during the Memorial Day weekend?

Moved to Wyoming last summer. Among many other factors I wanted to be in the middle of the prairie dog patch. True. So after several years of allowing life get in the way, I’ll be back out on the prairie with a best friend (who is driving two days to get here) and thinning the rodent herd. I’m stoked.

Memorial Day seems to be the unofficial “opening day” of prairie dog shooting. Who else has plans to hit the fields?

Pa chuck hunter here as well.
Definitely not the quantity of shot you PD hunters enjoy , however we do get a fair amount of quality shots. Sometimes a smart chuck is akin to an old buck. He got that way by being smart. I'd like to get a chuck mount done up on day . Problem is most of them only qualify for closed casket once dispatched.

Plans are to hunt the PD's Mon-Wed that week.
Looking foreword to my friends finally getting all their guns threaded and suppressors bought. Weather is always a factor, I don't know how you guys do it driving so far to watch it rain all week.

Mostly sub-caliber wildcats. Biggest stuff is 6XC and 6-250AI.

Uh oh. I started today and will continue through Memorial Day (actually until June 1). Guess I didn't read the regulations closely enough...
