Who’s going to Lodi, WI for Nationals?

My girlfriend (Marisa Tundo) and I (Dave Monette) will be shooting the 600 yard event days Saturday August 10th - Tuesday August 12th. It would be great to meet and spend some time chatting with some of the great folks on this site, and possibly get together for dinner and beers one night. Post your name here and let’s meet up, or PM if you feel more comfortable doing that. See you guys/gals there. Super excited.

I’ll see you at long range Dave. Shall we look for the blue hat ? My wife is coming too, but the deal is no one can tell her where scores are posted.
David, I really wanted to shoot the 1000 yard events as well but my niece is getting married 8/17 so we cannot stay for the 1000 yard competition.

I will also be there. Just listen for the score keeper yelling 8s and 9s that will be me shooting……
lol. Might be us too the way things have been going for us.

I’ll wear the hat in my avatar to make it easy, but I have a white beard too.

How far from the parking area to the 600 yard line? Anyone bringing a small pop up tent cover to set up by their car with some chairs for between matches? Anyone know if the 600 yard shooting line is covered or not??
Dave

If you are one of the first ones to the line, you can park behind it. From the stat office it is about 400 yard walk. No lines are covered. We will sweat in the August sun...

Do people pull cars up and drop off equipment to the line and then go park their car? We are traveling from far with limited space and don’t have one of those nice folding aluminum carts with the bike tires.

There is parking behind the 600 and 1000 lines. If you get there early enough in the morning, you can get parked close behind your target.

Some people do have easy up canopy’s behind the line for shade. It can be close behind your target, it doesn’t have to be at your car.

If you go look at the winnequah gun club facebook page there has been a lot of range improvements going on the last month or so.
