I was unable to find 7828ssc for my 208gr.ELDMs but couldn't find it. I bought a pound of 7977 and wanted to play with it. My load is 74gr. 7828, CCI 250, Norma brass. I looked at the burn rates and it is closer to H1000 (right next to it) so are the loads interchangeable with H1000? Load data on it is limited unless you know some other place to look I do not. If you do please tell me. Thanks.

I tried 7977 in 300winmag with Hornady 178 bthp and found it to be a hair faster burning than H-1000. I've used H-1000 with 175 smk so might not be a apples to apples comparison.
I used Hodgdon's data for 175smk and it was right on the money with the 178 bthp.
I kinda gave up on it thinking the accuracy should of been better, but I never retested those bullets with any other powder so now I'm thinking the bullet was not up to par and not the powder.
