Who to paint gunstock

being an old skinflint, if you do not want an exotic job, take 220 paper and sand all ove, go to Home Depot and buy the spray paint of choice, tape off the key bedding areas, etc, and hang it with a coat hanger and spray away.

i have done this with a number of textured hunting finishes and also with a royal blue gloss,

That's how I did my stock

Darrell Kierzek 252-528-0524 painted this one for me. We started in the morning adding a piece of wood to the bottom of the butt end so it would track straight back, blended with bondo, then sanded the original brown laminate, two coats of gray primer, then Glitter Blast (from Walmart), then 4 coats of automative clear coat. Done by 5 PM.

Check out Greg's work at OnTargetCustoms.net. He did a Manners MCS-T4A stock for me and it turned out great.

Go to a local VoTec or high school industrial arts program w/ bump and paint classes.

Too bad it is so lose to school being done. Many indust arts teachers would let a A student work on a gunstock as a special project.

I had a neighbor who is the instructor do a McMillan repaint for me. Did a very nice job at a very reasonable cost. He did say any more that he would do, would be $100 instead of $50.

I am looking for someone to paint a ST 1000 stock My main concern is turnaround time

I had a young man in Pennsylvania paint mine. It's a ST1000 also. He added the white ghost-flames over the Chevrolet Blue.
