who sells a factory remington bolt

Hey guys and gals, does anyone know who sells Remington 700 factory bolts? I'm looking for 2 of them to build a couple of 7mm saum's Ive searched Midway and Brownells, all I can find is PTG. I'm looking for factory parts. These will only be hunting riffles and I was also hoping factory would be a little cheaper. Thanks for any help.

For what it worth the PTG is they way to go , the price is not that much more and you know the PTG is put together right. PTG also offers larger than standard diameters to fit the action better. R.W Hart sells Rem factory bolts (they should be fitted) same as a PTG

Just an FYI but if you really want factory bolts they come up occassionally on Gunbroker. There is a seller in northern MN I have purchased from several times who tears rifles down and sells them in parts. Think he has a bolt on there now but not a WSM boltface, they are a bit harder to come by. Just post a WTB on several forums and somebody might have something hid in the closest along with a few other skeletons etc :)

If it were me I would probably go the PTG route also as price difference will be dictated more probably by who you have weld the bolt handle on then the components.

Pacific Tool has just finished a large order of one piece tactical remington bolts made from plate steel with integeral handel machined on them . No more weld on handlles . 147 bucks . They are going to be offered in long and short in any diameter and three types of extractors.

Larry Scott sold them a while back; dunno if he still deals in
Rem parts. Contact info:

Dont forget David Tubb has pacific machine them with a custum ejector and firing pin hole size. Pacific tool will not sell a Tubb bolt to the public. Tubb and stiller are having pacific machine all there new bolts with one pc handle. That should make for one heck of a strong bolt.

First, I don't want a Tubb bolt and especially one with a butt ugly dognut bolt knob. I had rather have Dan Armstrong tig weld my handle on with the proper bolt timing.
