Who makes custom .224 cal. bullets in the 65-75 grain weight?

If you are talking about hunting or defense then Lehigh Defense, Maker Rex, Hammer bullets, Berger, and a handful of others that escape me at the moment.

If you are talking about precision/target then there are a bunch like Berger, Barts, ......

What is the intended use for the bullet?

The 52 is the standard in br shooting so thats why the custom makers stay around there. Knights used to make a nice 67-68 gr so bart may have those dies now

Barts Bullets Good as you need. Tommy Mc

Barts are 52gr, best suited in a 12/14 twist.
Twist recommendation from Bart when I was shopping for bullets myself.
Not saying they wouldn't work in something faster.

I'm shooting Nosler Comp. or Lapua 69g into clean scores at 600 with a bolt gun at lengths that will go into an AR mag. What's the problem? Are you sure that more expensive bullets is a rabbit hole that you should be going down or is there another issue? Just askin'

Berger 73s
Laupa 77s
Sierra 77s
Nosler 77s

See what shoots great out of your barrel and then run with it.

The Hornady 75gr HPBT, Sierra 77gr SMK, Lapua 77gr or the Berger 73gr will so damn near anything you’d ever want out of an AR at mag length. Combine them with Varget, H4895, N-140 or lots of others and you’ll have a winning combination.

Heard they were back up and running and don't know their status but JLK used to make 75 VLDs in .224.

North West Custom Projectile has a couple bullets that are designed for deer sized game in .224". There is currently a 55,65 and 75gr. Spitzer with a C-110 heavy wall jacket. Soon they will have a rebated boat-tail design in the same weights.
