Who Has Primers ?

Primers are scarce ??? I need to get 1000 Federal Small Rifle,Match preferably) and 1000 CCI 450........None at Graf, non at Midway, non at Precision Reloading, non at Midsouth, non at Cabela's..........I keep searching.

We've been in "panic buy" mode since around early Nov......when you finaly find some it would behove you to buy as much as you can afford.

Well I did manage to score some BR-4's at Sinclair, but no Federal's. I needed some N133 as well so I made an order out of it. That'll get me by for now....still in new brass fireform mode so nothing critical.

Yea, if I could locat 10,000 federal's I'd scoop 'em up.

I was able to found some local for $28/100 and there match to boot! said he just ordered 10K and they were going to be the same price when they come in on his next order.

Just for kicks, has anyone called the primer manufacturer's and asked them what the story is behind the shortages? At the Post Falls, Idaho Cabela's, they have some primers but are running out quickly.

I would call but I won't need primers for a year or so. Plus, I'm lazy.

On 1/17, I waltzed thru a Gander MOuntain just looking around. As I went by the gun counter, I asked the guy if he had any small rifle primers. He looke on the shelf and held up a 100-pak of CCI 450's.......I said that was what I was looking for and said "I'll take everyone you have". He looked at me funny, then came back and said "That is the only one's we have". I said "Uh huh, that what I figured". Anyway, I have a 1000 450's and a 1000 BR's headin' my way. Still can't locate any Feds......at all.

Fed 210M in PA, but they don't tell you if they got 'em on hand....

Everywhere else I've looked they're "Out of Stock." Been that way for some months.
