I'm learning a lot on this forum. I recently read about this switch barrel system. I spoke with Larry today, while he hasn't installed the switch barrel system on a Tikka T3 yet he felt it may work. I sent him some pictures of my action to see what he thinks.
Do any of you have first hand experience with the LPA system? Seems like it results in a lot less barrel torque than typical barrels are installed at, he claims it has no effect on accuracy. I could also see the possibility of damaging your stock due to the torque of the action bolts on the stock as you install and uninstall the barrels, possibly even splitting your stock.
