Who built a 6mm Remington Ultra Magnum???

I saw it in a list of wildcat reamers available from Kiff or Manson. I’m just wondering who built a beast like that and did the barrel last long enough to find a good load?

Wow. I really didn’t expect an answer at all. I read about a guy who had a 6.5 UltraMag built. He got about 200 rounds down the tube.

I read some of his posts. He was claiming some impressive numbers for the 6 ultra. Wanting to say 87s north of 4k.
Most of the guys I know super worried about barrel wear only shoot 10 or 12 shots a year. might as well scorch some stuff!

Ive built some. Still have the reamer in my pile of useless ones. It seems real silly once your chargemaster starts running and doesnt slow down til north of 90 shooting a bullet that probably wont make it to the target. One of my guys shoots some kind of blitzking at coyotes at well over 4k. It guts them automatically.

3650 with 108s
4000 with 87/90s

For hunting any of the barrels will last a lifetime. I wasnt trying to do a target rifle on one. Think about how many years it would take to get 100rds on one.

Steve at Hammer Bullets has a 6.5 Lapua Improved that sends their 137 grain Hunter over 4,000 fps. I think he said they got up to 4,200 and he really loves that gun.
I think the Allen Magnum uses a .338 RUM case on his 6.5 AM but a 6mm is over the top, but fun !
