Whiddon lock rings on crimp dies

I see where Whiddon click adjustable lock rings can be useful on rifle sizing dies but what about pistol crimp dies?

Seems you could adjust in .001 increments more precisely and maybe if you use a different crimp for lead and jacketed tapered or rolled it would be easier to adjust back and forth as needed. Anywho just a thought.
