Whidden Sizing and Seating dies, 284 Shehane $330 shipped

Whidden gun works standard bushing full length sizing die and Arbor Seating die.

Sizing kit includes 4 bushings and the expander and shoulder datum gauge which came with the die. Very lightly used. Less than 400 rounds sized. $225 shipped.

Seater includes a custom 1.6” Berger 180 hybrid seating stem and the standard stem. (Berger stem is in the die.). 500 rounds seated with this die. $130 shipped.

What is the difference between the shehane and the 284 win could a get a picture of brass side by side

It’s an “improved” concept. Not sure about the actual numbers without digging up a print somewhere but here’s the brass. The .284 win piece is on the right and the fire formed piece is left. It’s possible that the only difference is a slight decrease in taper. I think it holds about 3 grains more powder. I was messing around at an “ELR” match with an undersized gun and wanted as much powder as I could get for those 2000 yard shots.

Whidden would know but my guess is the seater is universal between the two. Maybe.
