Which rifle for bravo chassis

I want a new 22lr bolt gun to put into a krg bravo chassis. Im looking at the tikka t1x, a bergara b14 rimfire barreled action or a cz 457 mtr.
Which of these rifles would be the best choice for accuracy.
I can't afford a voodoo unfortunately.

The upside to the bergara is you can buy just the barreled action. It's a good shooter. I put a jewel trigger in mine which helped make it a better shooter. I put my 457 varmint in a PDC chassis. With a little trigger work it's also a good shooter. I have no experience with the tikka.

Just picked-up a Bergara barreled action this past weekend; It too has a Jewell. My Bravo chassis is scheduled for delivery next Tuesday. Now, if this old fart can get into the shooting positions for NRL22!

I have one in which I put a Tikka T1x as well as one that had a LA 700 pattern action in it for a bit. Really like how well I could quickly set up on it, and repeatable too. I move the T1x to an ACC chassis more but am re-thinking that as it's really not providing much ROI for the price difference. Only reason I sold the 700 LA one was that I sold the barreled action what was in it. I did like that the 700 LA was for CIP length mags as I was running a 300PRC in it.

I do have one Bravo for Rem 700 S/A siting in my storage area. no plans to use it yet but not really worth selling for a loss either. I'm sure I'll find a project for it without too much work.

Palo,
Take this from an old man. If you feel a Vudoo is the best out there. You will not be happy until you buy one.
Buying something else now because it is cheaper will cost you more in the long run.

Palo, I vote for the Tikka, because you can also install it in one of Gary Eliseo's excellent 'tube gun' chassis systems. In fact, he sells a complete rifle based on the Tikka T1X (with or without the factory barrel). It's a good option to consider down the road, and the Tikka stuff is extremely well made and except for some of their stocks never feels cheap.

As to cost, I do not adhere to the 'buy the best, cry once' dictum. I say buy what you can afford, i.e. that you can pay cash for and not adversely affect the other facets of your life. It's good to have a goal, and you could put the Vudoo on your 'to do' list. I started in long-range tactical competition with a factory original Rem 700 in .308, with a modest scope and a 'Crown Royal' cloth bag filled with rice as my 'sand sock'. (Harris bipod up front...) After a few matches, I won the darn thing and set a range record. Sure, my good friend some time later broke the record and put it pretty much out of reach (using a custom .280 AI, Lone Wolf stock, NF 8-32x56), but I could and did win that match a few times with my setup.

Now I have much more expensive gear, and I'm not enjoying it any more. In fact, my expectations of performance for money spent have not been met.

Original setup cost: $1k total (plus my handloads)
New custom setup cost: $4k total (plus my handloads)

Realization that I spent 4x more for no better performance? Priceless. :)

I have a Tikka T1X in a bravo, and a B14R in the factory stock. I just put the tikka in the Bravo. I like it, but also like the Bergara stock. Both guns will shoot sub Moa out to 200yds. I would pick the B14R due to the 700 platform.

CZ-457. You can change barrels as you wish. 16-24" what ever you want. Can even change calibers. I have a 17M2 barrel for mine also. Timney makes good triggers for them too!

I've seen all 3 do pretty well but the concern of your question should actually be, "what ammo will work the best which ever of the 3 that I choose"?

I own both the Vudoo and Begara and they are both in bravo chassis the Vudoo is slightly more accurate and the bolt lift is like butter however the Begara holds its own. I have a friend who has a CZ in a chassis and has an equal if not more amount of money invested in it and my Begara consistently will out shoot his CZ for score on usbr targets even with him shooting my rifle and his in the same range day. I don’t know enough on the tika, however the Begara is a solid choice.

FWIW .. I own the CZ 457 MTR and I would not (will not) put it in a bravo chassis, I like it just the way it is .. some other model CZ might be a different story .. I also own two Tikka T1Xs (bought both new with their std MTR stock of course) ..one in 17 HMR and one 22LR.. I will not change the hummer, it shoots real nice as-is.. however, the T1X in 22LR was not grouping as well as I thought it should, even for casual day sloppy shooter me, so I did put it in a KRG Bravo chassis.. and I am now very well pleased with the T1X-Bravo 22LR

just a sidenote .. my CZ 457 MTR in factory stock still outshoots my Tikka-Bravo T1X 22LR.. but by razor thin margin .. my Anshutz 1517AV and Tikka T1X hummers (A25 at 100 yards) will outscore either of those 22LR rimfires (A23 targets at 50 yards), but again by razor thin margins .. I shoot 22LR at 50 yards, and rimfire magnums at 100 yards, local range Kongsberg target system rifle lanes, and I don't do 3 shot groups or 5 shot groups.. I do 10-shot groups, typically three consecutive 10-shot groups to evaluate my performance ... with that being said.. "on any given Sunday" any one of those 4 rifles just might score best .. and any 22LR that can score head to head with a good hummer is a keeper in my book .. (I have a Savage 93R17 BTVSS hummer that falls within that same group category too)
