Which reticle for Nightforce Competition scope

FCR-1 is good for F class.
reticle lines are a bit thin.... but ok for my old eyes.
The 1 moa hashmarks are useful for hold offs in the wind....

I really wish they'd do a raised reticle chosshair that allows for a wider field of view below the targets, for seeing your flags. The trend of late has been for more and more magnification, which reduces field of view. Yes, you can turn them down but the raised reticle just makes a ton of sense for our game. I guess the true BR market is just too small to justify it but with etched reticles, I can't see why they wouldn't offer it as a custom order choice.

March does just that..or did. Not sure if they still do or not. It is their LR reticle. Simple and uncluttered. I think March uses a 3/32" dot. Not sure if etching the glass poses issues to making a similar reticle or not. It looks different but in use, it's very natural to me and anyone I've spoken to that have them. Never heard a bad word that I can remember.

I much prefer the FCR-1 myself.
I actually bought a target dot . For me the fine crosshairs seam to be easier to aim persisely . I’m sure everyone’s eyes are different though. Best to buy from a company that offers returns.

I like the FCR-1.... but it would be better for you to look thru one and completely adjust it to your eye, then go from there.

There are no personal flags like in BR, just the range's flags on poles.
