Gents,
Today I borrowed a rear "rabbit ear" style bag for our monthly 1000 yard F Class match and proceeded to shoot a new personal best; 387-9X. In the past I've used a simple bean bag style squeeze bag. I was amazed by the stability of the rabbit ear style bag and now realize I've been short changing myself. So, here's the question: is there a prevailing brand/style of bag used by F TR shooters or is it a personal preference type decision? Is it heavily dependent on stock configuration? For reference, I use a McMillan A5. Any input would be appreciated.
I wasn't shooting a real F TR rig today. I was shooting my 6BR with a Sinclair bipod.
