Which reamer for 7/6.5 PRCW

I want to buy my own reamer for my 7/6.5 PRCW F Open. I use ADG brass and do not neck turn. A loaded round measures .312.
JGS offers a .316 and a .319 reamer.
Which is preferred?

Manson as well, 319,
theirs is Erik C’s version with the 1.5* lead and the JGS is A Wheeler’s version with a 1* lead, designed specifically from use with the Berger 180’s

JGS state the below on their website for the 316 Neck Reamer ... This is what I would get for ADG Headstamped PRCW brass.

"Print #7-6.5PRCW (No Turn if using ADG brass stamped w/7-6.5PRCW)

.316 Neck, .220 Freebore, .2852 Freebore diameter, 1-0-0 Lead angle"


However ... If your set on no neck turning and find yourself unable to get the ADG PRCW brass, then you would need to neck turn 6.5 PRC brass from Lapua/ADG etc.

I saw that on their website.
.004 seemed a little tight for not neck turning.
I called them and they were not helpful and said they don't give out advice...

If your dead set on no neck turning ... then safe bet is stick with the 319 reamer so you can use any brass without needing to turn.

My PRCW reamer is a 313 NK .. I neck turn .... I have tried clearances at .003, .004 and .005 for accuracy ... 004 shot the best. ( F Open rifle )

If you decide to go no turn and you cannot find one, I have an unused JGS Wheeler no-turn in the drawer. Went a different direction. Even if decide to try the 7-6.5 one day, I’ll buy the turn neck. Let me know.

Whichever one you go with i would make sure it has the AW2 spec at the backend if you dont want clickers
