Which Powder

Am using 650 gr pull down FMJ bullets (50 cal BMG). Any one with experience with RL50,H869 or H50 bmh powder?? Starting with 220gr of RL50 and working up. TKS

220 gr of RL-50 is a bit light.

240 gr is a good starting point. 255 gr RL-50 is the max according to Alliant's data.

Great Scott, 255 grains of powder! That's akin to filling a glass from a beer tap. Just let it fill til it overflows, knock the head off of it and hammer a BIG bullet in.
I want to shoot a 50 some day, probably just settle back afterwards and have a cigarette.
