Which Kestrel for me? I'm starting fresh.

I'm thinking it's a tool I could use. I haven't been doing long range shooting until recently. Never had a reason to worry too much about wind at the distances I shot at, but now that I'm starting to shoot further, it's definitely coming into play.

That being said, I know that they only read wind where I'm at, but I think it would be nice to have one tells the temp, density altitude, etc, to plug into my ballistics app and I could use it as a tool to know what xxx wind looks like to help me read it downrange. 1,000 yards will more than likely be as far as I would ever go.

I'm looking for one that gives me all I need to know and nothing I don't. I'm not going spend $300+ on one. I'm just shooting recreationally and it would just be a tool to help me learn more. It seems that the 3500 series and below would do it, but I'm not sure which one is good enough for my needs. I have a feeling that I'm not going to need to know what the heat stress index, dewpoint temp, and wet bulb temp is (whatever that is) :)

Thanks!
