Which days?

If you were planning a 2 day match F Class, would you do Friday & Saturday..or..Saturday & Sunday?

Are your most likely competitors retired or working a “standard” 5 day 40 hour week?
F Class has a bunch of "mature" shooters, but many still work. So
I can't figure it out. Talladega 600 was Friday and Saturday with a decent turnout.

Just in case you also allow sling shooters to participate at your venue (per the other thread), for reference most of our long and mid-range regionals in Tennessee (where Sling and F-Class matches are easily combined and run concurrently) have a 3x20 on Saturday and a 2x20 or 3x20 on Sunday, depending on the program. Sometimes there is an optional practice time on Friday, for example at Oak Ridge. None of the matches have required events on Fridays.

I'd prefer to do Saturday & Sunday so I can use Friday for set up. We will have 20 targets. I'm thinking 3x600 on Saturday and 2x600 on Sunday.
Yes, sling shooters are welcome.

Without knowing the area I would start with 3x600 both days and ask the competitors if they prefer that or a 3x600 on Saturday and a 2x600 on Sunday.

My guess is the folks traveling 2-3 hours would prefer the early start home on Sunday, the “day trippers” would prefer a 2nd 3x600.

If it’s a 3x1000 the 2x1000 might be more desirable for more people.
