Hey guys

What bi pods are you all running

I need one for a flush cup attachment that will work on a 2.5" rounded Forend

I know atlas is a great product... I just need to know what add ins I need to work with flush cups and rounded forearms

Greg,

McMillan makes a sling swivel stud that will fit into a flush cup. Works great with a Harris bipod. Hope this helps.

Regards, Paul

What's your application / use? I use a Harris Bipod for prone shooting prairie dogs.. it is perfect.. adjustable legs, with swivel.. i've seen some other mfg.. and in my opinion Harris is tops..

Yeah, I gotta agree on this one myself, I looked at other options besides the Harris, tried an Atlas, Versapod, Sinclair and some odd 'tactical' thing someone was selling at the range. Ended up getting rid of them all and going back to a swivel Harris with the notched legs, it does all a field bipod needs to do in the simplest configuration.

My dad has a bipod with"notched" legs.. I tried it.. and doesn't work for me.. I like to be able to adjust the "exact" length if on uneven terrain..but that's me..

If the one you tried didn't have a swivel, give one of those a try, the pod lock handle helps too but the swivel allows you to adjust the rifle in the bipod for uneven settings without having to mess with the legs.

If you had the inclination, you could install an Atlas BT17 rail section under your forearm. A couple minutes with a forstner bit and some bedding compound & you're done!
That rail is 4" long, and has it's own flush cup attachment point in the rear. Then, you could use any rail mounted bipod of your choosing. A matching Atlas bipod would do nicely ;)

Roundabout (and expensive) alternative, but it'll allow for a very solid connection...
