Which are the best brass catchers for BR competition?

Necks get dinged up unless there is a cushion IMO

Small 4x8 inch cardboard box. Side to rifle 3 in high, side away from rifle 5 inches. All thats required. Light, easy to replcace. I get about 5 years out of one. Towels and clamps, too fussy and slow for me.

In this part of the country, you'd be chasin' that little cardboard box all over the range...empty or full.

Two wood clamps and a towel, or build a drop port which I also just done lol

Been using these for 25 years. Dual purpose as I put timer, grease, and other small items from the bench in it, and put in my range cart.

Same problem here, I squeeze it against my rest with a loaded box of 50.

That’s the way the vast majority of shooters do it.

However, sometimes these nagging problems make you wish you would have opted for a drop port.

I love my drop ports!! Have 3 now! ;-)
