Which AI magazine?

Rifle is an older model 300RUM Sendero and I will be putting it in a McRee chassis. I would rather not alter the chassis or my action and I am ok with running factory length loads.

I believe Mile High can modify the AI 338LM mags for 300 rum

Accurate Mag are a slightly heavier gauge steel than factory authentic AI mags; McRee sells the Accurate Mag.......

I'd bet the feed lips may have to be bent in slightly. It's no big deal.

You may be well off to call up McRee's, they are GREAT to do business with, take the time to answer the phone and will be able to answer any question you may have.

CIP length mags require alterations to the action, so stay away from them.

AI 338lm mags require a little more than bringing the feed lips in .015. The shoulder is too far forward and hits the re-enforcement rib in the magazine, it needs to be milled out, well one side anyways. The accurate mag is the alternative and is made for 300RUM
