Which 7mm barrel do you use?

Brand, # groves, twist, length.

Why?

I shoot 600 and 1,000 yard Benchrest and shoot 180's.

My 284 Match has a Bartlein 9 twist 5R. I have used a barrel from just about every manufacture and Bartlein is the most consistent so far. My next choice would be a Brux.

My .284 Shehane F-Open rifle has both Brux and Krieger barrels, 9" twist, 4 L&G conventional rifling, Ø1.25" straight, 32" long. [br]
Because they provide the balance and weight that my configuration needs and the accuracy that I want.

7mm rsaum 1-9 twist cbi, bull 28 in. is my favorite, also have one from benchmark 1-9 twist 26in. If memory serves me correct 7saum won the f-open worlds this year. Then there is my fly at 100 yds

7 SAUM did not win the Worlds, Kenny Adams did.

Brux, Krieger, and Bartlein in that order, 32", 4 groove.

I have a Shilen Select match in a 1-8 twist finished at 26" in 7mag with standard riflings and
I have been more then pleased with it. I haven't shot comp yet, but it has been shooting
around 1/4" MOA very consistently for me so far. Yes, a hunting rig, but wanted longer
range accuracy running the 180's

What size groups are you getting at 600yds?

On my .284 I use a Bartlein 5R, 1 in 9 twist, 1.25 diameter, 30" long barrel. It is very accurate, works well with my setup, cleans up easily, and has 1400 rounds thru it with almost no signs of wear. One other reason I use them is because they are available from Grizzly and usually in stock so I don't have to wait (even though I keep a spare in on hand).
