Which 6mm to build?

I have a Remington 700 in 6 mm BR that I owned for the last 20 years and seeking to have a new barrel built for it plus a McMillian A5 stock and Jewell trigger. There are new calibers in 6 mm like the 6 x 47, 6 Creedmoor, etc. Which caliber would you recommend that is more accurate and longer reaching range possibly 1,000 yards? I see that the BR is a lot smaller than the 6x47 and Creedmoor and won't have the ability to reach out and touch them. I like to use Lapua brass and what twist do you recommend? Seeking some input from you gun fanatics. Thanks

Well my opinion don't count much but I would lean to 6 x47 lapua over the 6mm creedmoor because the 6.5 x47 lapua brass is tougher an longer living.

For plinkers or varmint rifles built on a repeater action I like the 6x47L! If you want to stick with the BR case then go BRA or Dasher.

I vote 6BRA, send it all to Alex Wheeler and he'll spin you up a heck of a rifle.

Lapua brass, 105 bullets in the mid 2900 fps range, extremely accurate and forgiving to load for, and more than capable of 1000 yard shooting. Plus the fire forming rounds are also amazingly accurate. A 105 Berger Hybrid at 2950ish is good out to 1200 yards, so don't feel like you need to go with a big case and burning more powder.

6x47 will get you a bit more velocity, but less barrel life. You won't be shooting that barrel for 20 years like the last one!
