Which 6mm for fclass

I would recommend a Dasher and run velocity around 2940. I have shot the Dasher for many years it owns ranges from from 300 to 800 yards. At the Berger SW Nationals I used it in 4 1,000 yard matches in 15 mph winds and I kept 72 out of 80 rounds in the 10 ring with 46 X's. My 284 AI was jumping too much in the bags and I switched to my Dasher bench gun as back up. Check the ballistics and you only give up 5 inches in a 10 mph wind and a lot of recoil. The Dasher is more accurate than the 7 and 30 calibers as a whole out to 1,000 yards, just many guys are afraid of using a 6 MM pill at that distance. Dasher - all the way!

I use Lapua brass. Fireforming is done during early season matches. I've shot clean all day while fireforming, so I can't say it is a waste of components.

Keith and his dasher are hard to beat around here at mid range. He and his dasher shoot weel... but I'm getting closer with my 6mm BR


Yes, Cody that is the rifle I bought from you... but I had another Bartlien put on it. THe 6mmBR is fun to shoot, Fclass, steel, etc.

I did get a 6x47 Lapua built up... waiting on stock to get finished.... I'm hoping it will be as accurate as my 6mmBR and then the extra velocity might allow me to beat Keith.
