Which 6.5 x 284 Norma LA DBM?

Just had a 6.5 x 284 Norma hunting rifle built on a Defiance Deviant LA that has a Badger DBM bottom metal assembly. The company I ordered the Badger DBM bottom metal suggested that since the cartridge I would be shooting is a 6.5 x 284 Norma that I need to use an AI 300 WM magazine. It appears that the feed lips of this magazine allow the case to actually come out the back of the magazine, and the bullet dips downwards as the bolt is being closed. Do I have the correct magazine, or do I need an AI 30-06 magazine instead? Are there is modifications I can do to the magazine I have currently to make it work? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

You have the correct magazine you must tune the feed lips to have the orientation correct to reload smoothly I have that exact caliber and use accurate mags for 300 win

It actually says 338LM for Lapua magnum. I have a 338 Lapua magnum that uses these mags but they are 3.850 inches the ones that I use in my 6.5 x 284 Norma are not that long

Ok, that is good to know. I thought maybe I purchased the wrong magazine. I would assume that the back of the feed lips near the case head is where most of the bending will be required to push the round down and give it a upward motion as the bolt closes?
