Which .223 Remington Chamber Reamer?

I am having a Krieger .223 Rem 1 in 12 twist barrel installed on a Remington 700 action. I intend to use this for varmints and target shooting with 53 to 62 grain bullets.

Which chamber reamer should I specify?

1. Clymer .223 Remington: The neck diameter is .255"/.254" and the Freebore length is .025"

2. PTG .223 Rem Match: The neck diameter is .251" and the Freebore length is .068"

I am concerned that the Clymer .223 reamer has too large a neck diameter but I do like the shorter freebore length. I like the tighter neck diameter on the Match reamer but not sure about the longer freebore length since I will be using shorter bullets.

Y ou should have a .252 to shoot Lapua brass, so the clymer is looking real good.

.068 is better suited for bullets a little heavy.
