AmaxJack: I had a walnut stock made 2 years ago by a guy from Bland Virginia. 3" wide flat forend and a close copy of the Kelbly Benchrest. Really nice grain & I finished it using Birchwood Casey Tru-Oil. Turned out really nice. Send me a PM if you are interested in contact info.

Make one yourself. I didn't think I could do it until I tried it. Now I am hooked. This one is curly cherry and mahogany. Next one will be Birdseye maple and African Padauk

Check out Richards Microft Stocks. 818-767-6097, or sales@rifle-stocks.com. They have just about everything, from sporter to benchrest. Good work for the money.. Tommy

He said he wanted it inletted. I've seen two-by-fours that required less work than some "inletted" Microfit stocks.

I would NEVER buy one, but they burn good.

Don,t know what you got. The 2 I have Look like they came from the factory. NO WOOD WORK NEEDED !!! Tommy Mc.. Bed and shoot...

take a look at gobywalnut.com. This guy is located in Oregon and has some gorgeous rifle stocks. I build furniture as a hobby, and some of the best walnut I have every used comes from Goby.

Beautiful work, well done.

Doan Trevor does superior work on both the wood an metal work. Friend of mine just got his spruce laminate yesterday from Doan and it looks outstanding. Obviously an FTR rig but the shocker was that Doan was able to keep the overall stock weight at 3.5 pounds and it was completed in 3 weeks! http://doantrevor.com/

I like precision rifle and tool. The couple I have worked with needed considerable work to finish, but I like the designs he has. They are straight, unlike a lot of stocks. I will go to him again.
